While doing a show in Kalamazoo Michigan, I stopped in the Dean Markley
String Factory (aka American Winding Company ) to visit the people that
make my bass strings. I was also quite curious how it all worked.

Well, they put me on a machine to make my own set. Very interesting
process. Tom Whaeln was the point manager at the site and my guide.
Nice people up there.
